The trick is “driving away real fast.”

There are some places on this Earth where it’s just not that safe to drive. For example, a friend once told me that, while driving through Africa, someone in his party began shooting his gun out the window into the sky — not to attack people, but to simply warn others that he had a gun.

Yeah, not great!

In this case, a driver in Bangladesh accidentally turned down a road that had been taken over by muggers wielding large blades. Thinking fast, he threw the car in reverse and floored it — inspiring even more muggers to come out of the shadows and shoot their shot at a robbery.
